Texas Tissue Converting is seeking a Shipping and Receiving - Forklift Operator with Computer Experience!

Responsibilities

• Ability to safely operate forklift removing finished goods from manufacturing line.
• Remove finished goods on pallets, move to shipping staging area, and stack pallets.
• Visually inspect all finished pallets for obvious damage, open packs and defects prior to placing them in the warehouse.
• Immediately report all defect conditions to the production supervisor and/or quality department.
• Cleaning of areas and assisting with Housekeeping
• Inspect all pallets prior to placing empty pallets on the line.
• Perform Housekeeping in area as assigned and responsible for upkeep of the area at all times.
• Maintain Texas Tissues high standards of customer service by providing quality service of loading and unloading product when asked.
• Knowledge of forklift safety and forklift operations.
• Ability to follow company safety policies and use safety devices as required

Preferred experience / background:

• Large C Clamp Experience preferred for front of line positions.
• 4+ years of Previous Forklift Experience
• Pallet Stacking experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to count and track product.
• Ability to keep work area clean and organized
• Ability to maintain a 0 accident driving record with lift trucks.

Working environment:

• This is an indoor climate-controlled manufacturing facility
• Issued Uniforms and Steel Toe Shoes required to be worn at all times

Physical ability and demand:

• Must be able to lift, sit, stand or walk for long period of times. Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a sedentary or movement type work.
