Job Overview:

We're excited to welcome a Supply and Demand Planner to our growing onsite team in Austin, TX! In this pivotal role, you'll be at the heart of managing and optimizing our end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring we maintain efficient inventory levels, produce accurate demand forecasts, and streamline production planning to drive our success. Key Responsibilities:

Demand Forecasting:

• Develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and input from sales and marketing teams.
• Analyze and adjust forecasts regularly to reflect changes in market conditions and business strategies.

Supply Forecasting:

• Manage and forecast all key components and raw materials needed for finished goods.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
• Monitor and analyze inventory turns, aging, and stockouts to identify areas for improvement.
• Validate inventory accuracy at all locations and ensure that inventory reporting is done timely and accurately.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with sales, marketing, production, and procurement teams to gather relevant information for demand planning.
• Foster strong communication channels to share forecasts, changes in demand, and other critical information.

Production Planning:

• Coordinate with production teams to ensure alignment between production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Optimize production plans to minimize lead times, transportation costs, and overproduction.

Supply Chain Optimization:

• Evaluate and enhance supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall responsiveness.
• Implement best practices in supply and demand planning to streamline operations.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and challenges in the supply chain, such as supply shortages, transportation issues, or production delays.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and maintain continuity in the supply chain.
• Anticipate overstock issues and products that are going to expire, and find ways to mitigate.

Data Analysis:

• Utilize data analysis tools to generate reports and insights related to demand patterns, inventory performance, and supply chain efficiency.
• Make data-driven recommendations to improve overall supply chain performance.

Continuous Improvement:

• Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance overall planning effectiveness.
• Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Supply and Demand Planning
• Proficiency in Excel and Advanced Excel Functions
• Experience working with Netsuite preferred
• Experience working with BOMs preferred
• Experience with S&OP process and forecasting processes
• Must be resourceful and self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills
