Nature & Purpose of Position
Operate specific equipment or handle specialized tasks during live studio productions and field productions. Operators may be responsible for camera work, sound, lighting, or graphics insertion, ensuring smooth technical execution of live shows or recorded segments.
Other Requirements for the Position
- Equipment Operation:
- Operate camera equipment, soundboards, or lighting during live or pre-recorded shows.
- Ensure correct framing, focus, movement for camera shots, and proper sound and lighting levels.
- Run video playback or manage on-screen graphics during live broadcasts.
- Technical Support:
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment before and after shoots.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to camera, audio, and lighting equipment during live shows.
- Collaborate with the technical director to adjust equipment and maintain smooth production flow.
- Field Production and Studio Support:
- Contribute to equipment testing, timing coordination, and stage management tasks.
- Assist with directing or operating secondary cameras during live shows.
- Ensure timely setup and breakdown of all production equipment and help troubleshoot any issues that arise.
