JOB SUMMARY

As the Sr. Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping Baylor Scott and White Health develop the future of our digital products and platforms, including our flagship mobile app, myBSWHealth.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including customer engagement, product, engineering, and marketing—to translate data into insights that guide strategic decisions, improve user experiences, and drive growth.

Leverage a deep understanding of the product and data to shape roadmaps, identify opportunities, and ensure value delivery to customers and the business.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in data analytics, with expertise in digital data and customer journey analysis.

SALARY

The pay range is $89,731/year (entry-level) to $151,000/year (highly experienced). The specific rate depends on qualifications and experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Product Performance Analysis
  2. Analyze product metrics, conduct deep dives into features, understand user behavior, and develop hypotheses for optimization.
  3. Perform impact analyses pre- and post-launch based on business outcomes.
  4. Translate complex data insights into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences.
  1. Experimentation Management
  2. Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests with product managers to evaluate new features.
  3. Ensure proper experimental design and interpret results to inform decisions.
  1. Defining and Tracking KPIs
  2. Work with product managers to define and develop tracking specifications.
  3. Ensure stakeholders have access to real-time data via dashboards or reports.
  1. Data Modeling and Pipeline Support
  2. Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data accuracy and availability.
  3. Define data requirements for new features and ensure proper instrumentation.
  1. Data-driven Advocacy
  2. Educate team members on data interpretation and insights utilization.
  3. Promote a data-driven culture and best practices in experimentation and analysis.
  4. Maintain data integrity from implementation to interpretation.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

  • 5+ years in digital product analytics, working with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (SQL, Python, or R).
  • Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests.
  • Familiarity with data platforms like Snowflake and tools like Power BI.
  • Experience with web analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Adobe Analytics, or Mixpanel.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with good documentation habits.
