About the Role

The Chambers Creek Lifestyle Director provides a comprehensive recreational and social agenda for homeowners of Chambers Creek to create an extraordinary community that enriches lives and builds relationships. Our goal is for our 55 and better residents to live longer, better lives through programming, amenities, and resources based on six LiveWell pillars: Social, Intellectual, Physical, Emotional, Vocational, and Spiritual.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work under the supervision of the VP of Lifestyle
  • Serve as a community liaison between residents and Caldwell Companies' corporate office
  • Create, plan, promote, and execute a community event calendar focused on the six LiveWell pillars
  • Engage residents using amenities like a 9-hole course, fitness center, lakes, trails, vineyard, chapel, and community garden
  • Build relationships with homeowners, acting as the community's face and passing feedback to management
  • Manage community communications including website, newsletters, and announcements
  • Maintain an annual budget for activities and events
  • Establish partnerships with local organizations and businesses for sponsorships and programming
  • Develop policies and procedures for the lifestyle team
  • Oversee administrative duties such as vendor contracts and invoicing
  • Support community groups, clubs, and committees
  • Plan and promote fitness programming
  • Collaborate with Jerry's CafĂ© for special events
  • Recruit and organize resident volunteers
  • Maintain a professional relationship with the HOA Board and Caldwell Companies
  • Work with marketing to promote community branding
  • Assist in planning the HOA annual meeting
  • Engage in public speaking and community engagement activities

Requirements

This role requires flexible full-time hours, including some nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly.

Qualifications

Candidates should be self-motivated and effective in working with residents, volunteers, and committees. They should have 3-4 years of experience in event planning, recreation programming, public relations, or related fields, and at least 2 years in communications management.

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree or higher in recreation, communications, journalism, or community development from an accredited institution is preferred.
