CTG is seeking to fill a Network Engineer 3 opening for our client in Huntsville, TX.
Location: Huntsville, TX (hybrid remote)
Duration: 3 months
Duties:
Program and troubleshoot network equipment including routers, switches, DSLAMs, and nano beam equipment
Monitor network circuits daily to identify and resolve anomalies that may cause outages
Provide ongoing network support for all programs and systems in use
Collaborate with other IT professionals to maintain and optimize network infrastructure
Ensure network performance, reliability, and security across various environments
Skills:
Strong knowledge of network hardware and configuration
Proficiency in Cisco networking technologies
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to monitor and maintain network performance proactively
Effective collaboration and support capabilities within a cross-functional team
Experience:
10 years of work experience in a network engineering role (Required)
10 years of experience with CCNA (Preferred)
10 years of experience with CCDA (Preferred)
10 years of experience with CCNP (Preferred)
Education:
Degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
Cisco Certifications preferred (CCNA, CCDA, CCNP)
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
