Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Retail Key Carrier to assist in managing our retail facility. This role encompasses responsibilities typical of a cashier, receiver, or sales associate. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of store operations and be ready to step in as the acting Store Manager when required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Open and close the store as directed.
• Assist in the supervision and management of store associates.
• Provide guidance and support in store operations.
• Facilitate the training of new associates.
• Maintain awareness of safety and security issues, promptly reporting any incidents to the Store Manager.
• Implement company policies and procedures effectively.
• Contribute to increasing sales, maintaining profit structure, and reducing controllable expenses.
• Support the maintenance of store image and appearance.
• Engage actively in personal selling.
• Support shrinkage control efforts through preventative measures.
• Assist in resolving personnel and customer complaints.
• Perform all other duties customary in the retail apparel/footwear industry.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager on various tasks as assigned.
• Understand reports and coach associates to comply with goals regarding sales and turnover.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Ability to comprehend basic instructions and interpret documents.
• Ability to apply abstract principles to complex tasks.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Alertness and attentiveness during assigned work hours.
