As a leader in home health care, we help kids achieve their best lives at home and in their communities while providing our employees a fun and rewarding place to work.* Position: Service Specialist* Hours: Full-time* Location: San Antonio, TX* Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm. Some on-call weekends and evenings required.THE POSITION:* Establishes and maintains effective relationships with the patients, families and caregivers as well as all PHS employees.* Schedules and makes deliveries to patients homes in a timely manner.* Confirms delivery and reports potentially unsafe conditions.* Performs data entry functions to log customer visits, conversations and follow-ups.* Assist in Warehouse duties, such as pulling tickets, receiving, and inventory* Manages time efficiently and be competent in estimating drive times.THE BENEFITS:* Competitive pay* Paid time off* Health, Vision & Dental insurance* Short & Long-Term Disability & Life insurance* 401K plan* Professional Development* Education ReimbursementQUALIFICATIONS:To qualify you must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and one to two years of work experience, preferably in a customer service-related role. The qualified candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently. Warehouse and/or driving experience in the area is a plus.Preferred Qualifications:* DME/Home Health or other related experience is preferred.* Driving experience preferred* Valid drivers licenseTHE COMPANYPediatric Home Service is a pediatric home health agency that has provided high quality DME and nursing services to children that are medically fragile since 1990.
