New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Designer for a client located in Conroe, TX to join our team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Pay: $18-$22/hour

Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Designer to support our engineering team. This role is responsible for drafting, designing, and reviewing electrical schematics and mechanical drawings for industrial equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and sketches of parts and equipment.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and structural calculations related to design.
• Create and manage AutoCAD Electrical symbols and schematics.
• Develop mechanical drawings for external structures, skids, and enclosures.
• Generate detailed electrical schematics and harness drawings.
• Revise drawings to reflect design changes and as-built documentation.
• Assist in component selection and bill of materials preparation.
• Support standardization and unification of design documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers/customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Education: Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Design (2 years)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in an electro-mechanical design role
• Software: Proficient in AutoCAD; SolidWorks proficiency preferred (CSWP or CSWA certification a plus)

• Familiarity with high/low voltage power systems, automation control, and diesel generator sets
• Understanding of material management systems and generator components
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Good English communication skills (reading and writing)
