Civil EIT - Water/Wastewater

Our industry-leading client is looking for an Civil EIT - Water/Wastewater engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join their team!

The candidate will be responsible for managing project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and coordinating work with other team members along with helping provide a vision for our Water/Wastewater growth in San Antonio, TX!
Responsibilities:

• Assist with engineering tasks such as the collection and analysis of data
• Check design computations and quantity estimates
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modelling
• Work in collaboration with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C, structural, environmental, and CAD) to support project managers in producing plans and specifications
• Support construction phase services which may include a review of shop drawings, submittals, participation in progress meetings, as well as construction observation and/or inspection
• Conduct site visits to conduct field audits and perform construction observation
• This position will support mid and senior-level engineers and project managers to conduct evaluations, engineering reports, planning/study documents, designs, and construction management services
• Perform equipment selection and prepares technical specifications

Key requirements:

• B.S. in Environmental, or Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Basic engineering knowledge of water resources (stormwater, flood water, surface water hydraulics) is required
• 2+ years of relevant municipal engineering design experience
• Must possess a state Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience
