The Controls Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems to optimize the performance, efficiency, and predictability of industrial production processes. This role applies control theory, utilizing tools like Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. The engineer will integrate advanced automation technologies, manage project deliverables, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement industrial engineering solutions.

System Design and Implementation:
Design and develop control systems for industrial automation projects, including PLC, Human-Machine Interface (HMI), and SCADA.
Integrate vision-guided robotics and motion control systems into the production environment.
Develop algorithms and utilize tools such as PLCs and SCADA systems.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment related to electrical design or programming.
Program and troubleshoot control systems, PLCs, and automation software.
Project Management and Compliance:
Manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
Ensure compliance with project methodologies and deliverables.
Conduct testing and validation of engineering solutions to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Prepare proposal estimates and provide input during launch and production phases.
Documentation and Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement industrial engineering solutions.
Document processes, specifications, and procedures related to engineering projects.
Analyze system requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
Address customer needs through effective problem-solving and technical solutions.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming, particularly with products from major brands such as Rockwell/Allen-Bradley or Siemens.
Familiarity with standards such as NEC, UL, NFPA, IEEE, CSA, and CE.
Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and their application in control systems.
