Sigma Space is part of Hexagon, a leading global provider of design, measurement and visualization technologies that enable customers to design, measure and position objects, and process and present data.Developing embedded as well as GUI and data processing softwareWork as a member of a small development team that develops and maintains software to control instrumentsAssist with maintenance and enhancement of the existing software, including debugging and diagnosis of software and hardware defectsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related Scientific fields~5 or more years of C++ experience,~ C and Python programming experience~ Knowledge of Linux kernel internals, kernel module and device driver development~ Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating system, shell scripting and system configuration~ Solid experience building embedded processor applications with C and C++ programming languages~ Solid experience with low-level hardware control and software/hardware interaction~ Experience working and developing software in Unix/Linux environments, some Windows experience would be helpful.~ Familiarity with network communications, specifically UDP and TCP~ Effective verbal and written communication skills in English~ Experience working on high-reliability programs for defense and aerospace applications.~ Competitive health care plans with savings accounts· Dental and vision plans·401k with 100% company match up to 6%, with immediate vesting on company match· Life and disability insurance· Tuition Reimbursement Program· 13 paid holidays per year· At Hexagon US Federal, we believe that diversity of experience and thought makes us stronger.
