HVAC Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $30/hr

Location: Conroe, TX 77303

Schedule: 12 hours shift (6AM to 6:30 PM and 6PM to 6:30AM), rotates between day shift & night shift every 30 days

Description: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, HVAC systems, building AC units, and electrical cabinets. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, committed to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on HVAC systems, building AC units, and industrial machinery.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical panels, control systems, and motorized equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Collaborate with production teams to quickly resolve equipment issues and maintain productivity.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and any issues encountered.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Assist in installation and set up of new machinery or building systems.
• Support energy efficiency initiatives and equipment upgrades.

Safety:

• Follow company safety policies and safe work practices.
• Comply with all safety signage and PPE requirements of Maintenance Team.
• Report any unsafe acts and near misses immediately to management team.
• Participate in hazardous identification process and procedures.
• 100% safety record for the Maintenance Team.
• Maintenance Team Management of Housekeeping and Organization.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in industrial maintenance, HVAC, or related manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building AC units, electrical cabinets, and industrial machinery.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, scaffolding, or elevated areas as required.
• High Energy with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Licensing / Certification:

• HVAC/Mechanical Certificate or Degree preferred

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $30.00 - $30.00 Per Hour
