Nature & Purpose of Position

French Tutors in the Academic Success Center (ASC) will support students in advancing their competencies in the French language. Tutoring sessions offered will be conducted either face-to-face or online to support individual requests or small-groups. A typical day will include but is not limited to: assisting students with study strategies, content review/interpretation, mastery in understanding/ comprehension.

Other Requirements for the Position

Required Qualifications:

a. 3.0 overall GPA (on 4.0 scale)

b. "B" or better in French coursework

c. Possess the potential and ability to develop language skills to students/peers

d. Patience
