School Psychologist (Evaluations Only) - $55/hr - Huntsville, TX - 13-Week Assignment

Position Overview:

The School Psychologist provides on-site psychological services, focusing on evaluations and assessment procedures to support eligibility determinations and student needs. This role includes conducting psycho-educational assessments, interpreting results, collaborating with school teams, and ensuring compliance with state and district requirements.

Assignment Details:

Location: Huntsville, TX

Start Date: March 23, 2026

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full-time or part-time candidates considered)

Pay Rate: $55/hour (local)

Modality: In-person

Openings: 1 position

Details of Assignment:

• Evaluations-only role (testing, reporting, and participation in eligibility discussions)

• Full-time or part-time availability acceptable

• In-person interview preferred

• Documentation through district systems

• Caseload and workflow reviewed during interview

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments and re-evaluations

• Complete observations, interviews, and standardized testing

• Prepare written reports and participate in eligibility meetings as needed

• Collaborate with school teams, families, and administrators

• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines

• Provide recommendations to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs

Requirements:

• Active LSSP (Licensed Specialist in School Psychology) credential (required)

• Experience with school-aged populations preferred

• CPR, TB screening, and health certificate if required

• Must meet all federal, state, and local compliance requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
