Position SummaryLot associates are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the lot where marine vehicles and equipment are stored for their respective OneWater Marine store.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist with the organization and maintenance of the lot.Ensure all boats, trailers, and other equipment are stored properly.Safely move and transport boats and equipment as needed to support sales, service, and customer needs.Conduct regular inspections of boats and equipment for damage or maintenance and report any issues to management.Assist in preparing boats for deliveries and support receiving and unloading of new inventory.Demonstrate attentiveness when customers are on the lot, assisting as needed.Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the lot is safe for all employees and customers.Partner with other team members to ensure operational and customer needs are prioritized and met.Maintain knowledge, training, and certifications for equipment use.Perform any other duties as assigned.SkillsAbility to operate forklifts, boats, and other equipment, or willingness to learn.Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Qualifications / RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Prior experience in a similar role or in the marine industry is a plus, but not required.Physical DemandsActivities required during the shift include:Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.Repeating motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers.Moving about to accomplish tasks or traveling between work sites.Operating motor vehicles.Communicating with others to exchange information.Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work.Hearing, talking, seeing, and eye/hand/foot coordination.Work EnvironmentNo adverse environmental conditions expected.Poor ventilation.Hazardous conditions.Small and/or enclosed spaces.Noisy environments.Exposure to intense weather conditions.Work involves moving objects up to 100 pounds or more.OneWater Marine is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with ADA regulations as applicable.Note: This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee(s) incumbent in this position.
