Full time teaching of undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Department of Management and Marketing, on the Huntsville campus, and online. Participate in departmental administrative activities as directed by the department chair. Conducts research leading to publication of articles in quality peer-reviewed journals as defined in the SHSU College of Business Administration (COBA) intellectual contributions quality list. Applicants must demonstrate an ability to qualify as Scholarly Academic under AACSB standards, and show evidence of ability to maintain that qualification. Provides service to the Department, COBA, and University. Takes a lead position in working with departmental faculty in the development of the COBA Master's in Leadership program, including planning, development of curriculum, and developing industry linkages to propagate the program in the region.
Ph.D. in Management from an AACSB accredited college of business. Candidates in the final stages of their dissertation with a defense date before September 1, 2026 may be considered.
Teaching experience in face-to-face and online environments and experience in developing new course programming. Industry experience is desirable.
The appointee will typically teach 9 credit hours per semester, engage in research, and support the college and university through service. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to publish in quality peer-reviewed journals and the potential for contributing significantly to the Master's program in leadership.
