Waitstaff / Server (Assisted Living)

Sundale Senior Living offers assisted living to seniors. We aim to bridge the gap between independent living and standalone assisted living solutions for seniors.

As a Waitstaff/Server, you are responsible for providing residents with a service that exceeds their expectations, at all times. Must desire to work with seniors and have a tolerance for behaviors associated with the aging processes.

• Must enjoy working with seniors by providing empathy, compassion, kindness, and patience
• Ability to respond promptly to resident needs
• Ability to remain calm in a variety of situations and use sound judgment
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed. Must be available to work weekends and holidays

What you'll be responsible for:

• Set up and clean the dining room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards.
• Adhere to all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Ensure that each resident feels that they are the most important person to you and that you find pleasure in serving them.
• Takes meals/drinks and serves meals in a friendly and timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage items
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules

Pay Rate and Benefits:

• Hourly rate is $9 - $10 an hour depending on experience. We pay weekly.

• 8 hour shift
• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• Weekend availability
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Holidays
• Day shift
• Night shift
• Overtime
