Description:

QA Specialist Opportunity At ZipBoard

Founded in 2015, zipBoard was created to address the challenge faced by distributed teams in streamlining design, content reviews, and bug tracking. Today, zipBoard is a SaaS platform that enables teams to collaborate visually, gather feedback, and turn that feedback into actionable tasks. Our tool helps teams working on websites, webapps, e-learning courses, and other digital content to manage their workflows more efficiently. At zipBoard, we are a small but highly experienced development team that works in agile sprint structures to continuously improve our product.

As a QA Specialist at zipBoard, you'll be a key player in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our visual feedback and bug tracking tool. In our agile, fast-paced startup environment, your input will be highly valued, and you'll have the opportunity to learn about all parts of full-stack software development. Working closely with our developers and designers, you'll be responsible for creating and executing test cases, both automated and manual, across various environments. Your ability to identify and communicate issues will be crucial to the team's success.

What is the opportunity? As a QA Specialist at zipBoard, you'll work directly with a small but experienced development team that values collaboration and agility. You will develop thoughtful test cases, set up automated tests, and perform manual testing in both staging and production environments. Your insights will be appreciated by the entire team, and you'll have the chance to quickly expand your knowledge of full-stack software development. In addition to reporting and tracking bugs, you'll collaborate closely with the product team to ensure feedback is integrated effectively into our agile sprint cycles.

  • Be part of a fast-paced, collaborative SaaS startup where your opinion truly matters.
  • Work 100% remotely with flexibility within PST core hours.
  • Gain exposure to full-stack software development, enhancing your skills in a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborate with a passionate team and contribute to shaping the quality and direction of our product.
  • Gain experience working with modern, AI-assisted development and vibe coding workflows.

At zipBoard, we're redefining how teams collaborate on digital content. Our platform is used by product, design, and construction teams to streamline visual feedback, QA, and task management across complex documentation and multimedia content.

We're looking for a detail-oriented and methodical QA Specialist to join us part-time. You'll help ensure a smooth and consistent user experience across our platform by identifying bugs, validating feature releases, and maintaining quality standards.
