Nature & Purpose of Position
The Sam Houston Athletics Department is looking for students who are interested in joining our Marketing & Promotions team! The Marketing & Promotions team is open to those with interest in marketing, promotions, and gameday experience of college athletics! Students will work Sam Houston Athletics games, events, and other opportunities affiliated with Sam Houston Athletics as assigned. Duties on gameday include, but are not limited to, assisting in the execution of in-game entertainment and promotions to ensure sponsorship elements are met during athletic events.
This position provides an opportunity to gain valuable first-hand experience in all aspects of college athletics. Responsibilities may change at the discretion of supervisor.

Required Skills:
Highly motivated individual who is looking to gain career experience within collegiate athletics, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays for home events.
