Assist in receiving, storing, issuing and delivering of equipment, tools, and supplies and maintaining inventory control. Deliver district mail/packages in a manner that is safe and efficient.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Load and unload delivery trucks as needed. Unpack items and inspect shipments for damage and defects.
2. Verify accuracy of shipments and record any discrepancies or damage.
3. Fill requisitions from stock items. Verify accuracy of orders pulled.
4. Pickup and deliver materials, equipment, supplies, furniture and parts as needed.
5. Deliver time sensitive materials, such as testing materials, text books, etc.
6. Move, install, assemble, and repair school furniture/equipment as needed.
7. Sort and store items according to established inventory systems and procedures.
8. Receive and complete work orders on a computer based program.
9. Maintain accurate records of time and materials used.
10. Inspect work upon completion and ensure areas are left clean of debris and secure the area.
11. Work with supervisors, administrators, principals, teachers and contractors to complete assignments.
12. Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and carrying. Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles according to prescribed safety procedures.
13. Correct unsafe conditions in work area and promptly report any conditions that are not immediately correctable to supervisor.

14. Inspect vehicles and equipment following established inspection procedures to identify needed repairs.
15. Replace fuel tanks on fork lift and refill spare tanks as needed.
16. Assist in setting up tables, chairs, decorations and displays for district functions.
17. Clean warehouse areas as assigned.
