Job Duties:
Assist with ordering weekly supplies, including truck deliveries, officer uniforms, chemicals, and inmate hygiene items.
Assist with receiving and processing weekly truck deliveries for the unit.
Assist with preparing and completing weekly supply orders submitted by departments on the unit.
Assist with conducting weekly inventory checks of supply items.
Assist with issuing weekly inmate necessities.
Assist with the biweekly officer uniform exchanges.
Assist with departmental audits and training activities.
You'd be a GOOD fit if:
You have graduated from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.
You have one year fulltime, wageearning customer service, clerical or secretarial experience.
You have experience in excel and administrative support.
You'd be a GREAT fit if:
You have skill to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely.
You have the skill to operate a 10key calculator.
You have the skill in the use of computers and related equipment.
You have the skill to prepare and maintain records and files.
You have the skill to coordinate with other staff, departments, officials, agencies, organizations, and the public.
You have the skill to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
You have agency knowledge and departmental organizational structure, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
